David Schildkret is Professor of Choral Music at Arizona State University. He has taught at University of Rochester, Centre College, and Salem College, where he served as the dean of the School of Music. His articles have appeared in the NATS Journal, Choral Journal, Bach, and The American Choral Review, among others. He is the Founding Editor of The Choral Scholar and serves on the board of NCCO.
