Stephen Sieck serves as Director of Choral and Vocal Studies and Assistant Professor of Music at Emory & Henry College. In addition to his experiences conducting middle and high school, university, and church choirs, Dr. Sieck has had numerous solo vocal and opera performances (tenor) to his credit. His most recent roles include Don Ottavio in Mozart's Don Giovanni and the title role in Leonard Bernstein's Candide. His scholarly work includes articles on Benjamin Britten (The Choral Journal) and Aaron Copland (Tempo) with upcoming work on Frank Martin. Dr. Sieck is an active presenter in MENC on working with young tenors.
